Day 21: Baby Steps

Today I actually made a post on my site www.bodyshapestyle.com.

I was doing some research about developing my wardrobe, with a vintage flair, and there was a discussion about style icons. It sparked a bit of interest and eventually I ended up posting – the first post in quite some time.

I really want to avoid just posting away like that though. I don’t think it has validity as there’s no research involved beyond my interest. That’s all well and good but at the end of the day this is a business and it needs to be treated as such.

All the same, I’m glad I did. It’s like a psychological barrier has been broken now.

But, back to the research.

I did spend some time today going through the business planning process. That’s the point of the approach I’m using – go through the process, measure results and then go through again. So that’s what I’m doing – going through the process each time going deeper.

Eventually I will end up with an action plan. Then I work through the plan, keep checking and measuring and adjusting and the money starts rolling in.

Yeah – I’m not actually seeing that too clearly yet, but hopefully early days.
