I finally completed my mind movie.
For those who don’t know a mind movie is a collection of images and affirmations all set to music that create a wonderfully inspirational message that evokes how it will feel to have reached your goal.
With any sort of visualization it’s the feeling that really creates. Meaning it’s all well and good to say “hey I’d love a $100K” but if you can’t connect with how that will feel (and it won’t feel bad) then getting there is harder.
For me a mind movie is a tool to keep me inspired, to promote persistence and keeping bringing me back to the reason I started this in the first place.
I quite like it. You have a look and tell me what you think.

Chandelle-Thank you for clarifying those ptoins about HAES. It’s a powerful idea that I think can help a lost of us in the weight hamster wheel.Your words also helped me think through the whole diet thing even more. It seems I am on a diet, right? I guess for me, the distinction is that I just want to eat less permanently. This is because I eat too much now. I know this because my stomach hurts after eating too much! I’m trying to figure out portion size. That’s why I chose the word excessive to describe my weight, because the eating that leads to it *feels* excessive to me, not nourishing. I do this when I feel anxious in social eating situations. This is humbling to say, but it is the truth, which often does hurt! Nevertheless, I will continue to think about what you’ve said. Thanks for your words and affirmations. I am a big fan of your writings.<3Sarah
