I was all fired up today to jump straight into the next task, but … well it’s Christmas, I have a million things to do, and really what would I achieve with the little time that I have.
It wasn’t until I dragged myself home from work that I realized I could accomplish a little.
I could achieve a feeling of persistence because I have taken action, however small, on a project that means a lot to me.
I could feel great about taking a step forward, even if it really is basically a shuffling of my feet more than actually doing anything.
The point is to reinforce my commitment.
So I logged into the library website and booked myself a book about Google. I’m going on holiday after Christmas, just for a week, but I really want to keep the momentum going.
My next step is to analyze where I’m at and for that I have to learn what Google Analytics can tell me.
So … at the end I achieved something, even if it is only ‘noise’.
